FAQ
Frequently asked questions about card and bus
The most important questions about combining the Lisboa Card with the hop-on hop-off tour.
Is the hop-on hop-off bus included in the Lisboa Card?
No. The Lisboa Card covers public transport (metro, bus, tram, trains to Sintra and Cascais), not the sightseeing bus. The Yellow Bus hop-on hop-off tour is a separate ticket by Carristur that you can book together with the card.
How do I book both together?
Book the bundle in the booking window above: it opens a Tiqets checkout that contains the Lisboa Card and the hop-on hop-off tour. You choose the card duration (24, 48 or 72 hours) and the bus duration (24 or 48 hours) there.
How long is the bus ticket valid?
The hop-on hop-off ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours from first use, depending on the variant you choose. The Lisboa Card runs separately for 24, 48 or 72 hours from its own first use.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Both tickets can be cancelled free of charge until 23:59 the day before the chosen date - the Lisboa Card before its pick-up date, the bus ticket before its tour date. The exact terms are shown per ticket in the Tiqets checkout.
Is the bus worth it if I have the card?
The card already covers metro, bus and tram, so you can reach every attraction without the sightseeing bus. The hop-on hop-off tour is for the overview from the open top deck with commentary - useful on the first day, less so if you know the city.
