What is included in the price
Regardless of the duration chosen, the card covers:
- Free entry to 51 museums and monuments, including the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Torre de Belém and the Castelo de São Jorge.
- Free public transport by metro, bus, tram (including line 28E), the historic lifts and the suburban trains to Sintra and Cascais. More details on the Public Transport page.
- Discounts of 5 to 50 % on additional tours, experiences and selected shops.
Which duration is worth it?
Two highlights plus public transport already cover the cost. A typical day in Belém - the Jerónimos Monastery (18 €), the Torre de Belém (15 €) and a 24-hour Carris/Metro ticket (7.25 €) - comes to 40.25 € paid separately. The 24-hour card costs 31 €, so you are 9.25 € ahead after two sights.
For Belém, the old town and a day trip to Sintra or Cascais, one day is often not quite enough - the 48-hour card (51 €) works out at around 26 € per day. Anyone using public transport daily over several days and visiting multiple museums will benefit most from the 72-hour card (62 €): that works out at only around 21 € per day. Add the Castelo de São Jorge (17 €) and the Panteão Nacional (10 €) and the gap widens with every visit.
The individual prices above are the regular adult rates charged by the monuments and by Carris as of July 2026. Which attractions are particularly worthwhile is shown on the Attractions page.
Cancellation: unused vouchers can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the collection date.
